Cubic Pricing is probably the best discount that the Post Office offers, and with Panda you get it for free.
For your package to qualify for Cubic Pricing it must meet all of the following criteria:
20lbs or less
0.5 cubic feet or less
No side is 18" or more
Must ship Priority Mail
O.K.... we're about to get a little more complicated now (but no need to fear, because if you sign up, our software does all the calculations for you). There's five tiers of pricing for Cubic Pricing based on the cubic feet. The smaller the cubic feet the cheaper the postage.
0.01 - 0.10
0.11 - 0.20
0.21 - 0.30
0.31 - 0.40
0.41 - 0.50
Now that we know the price tiers, let's figure out how to find the cubic feet of your package. We have to take the LxWxH and then divide by 1728.
We don't plan on you doing this calculation for every one of your packages, which is why we do it for you. Every time you go to ship a package through Panda our software checks, and if that specific package qualifies for Cubic Pricing we automatically apply the discount.
